Introduction

Dear Adviser,

A happy new year to you as we head into 2024.

We hope you are pleased with our most recent announcement to reduce our charges in 2024. From 1 March 2024 no client will incur a Transact buy commission and the charge will be removed from our systems. We are also removing all quarterly wrapper fees from Junior ISAs in linked family groups. The last wrapper fees to be taken will be in respect of the quarter 1 Jan – 31 March. These changes go a significant way towards simplifying our charges. All our current charges are detailed here.

We also have some fantastic news that will reduce the “time out of the market” for the majority of clients investing. We have been developing a second daily (“aggregated”) dealing point capability and we aim to implement this over the coming months. From its introduction, for all online trade instructions received before 09:30 we will combine (“aggregate”) these instructions to submit the same morning. The new additional cut-off time complements the existing 13:00 cut off for aggregated dealing. More details are provided below.

You can also register to watch our “2023 catch up webinar” being held on 6 February. This is an additional event based on adviser requests so more of your office can hear from Transact leadership.

As in other years we look forward to seeing you at CISI events 21-22 May at the British Tank Museum in Birmingham, and 15- 16 October at Old Trafford cricket ground Manchester.
