Reflecting on 2023 and looking forward to 2024!
As we move into the new year it is worth reflecting on what has been a busy 2023 – our first full year following the launch of the Transact – BlackRock MPS. It’s been fantastic to discuss the new service with so many of you. The number of adviser firms signing up and assets invested exceeded our expectations in the first year, making this the fastest growing Discretionary Investment Manager (DIM) launch on Transact.
A big thank-you for the great discussions, feedback, and of course your support. We very much look forward to working with you in 2024.
Transact – BlackRock Investment Webcasts
We’ve been delighted that so many of you have been able to join us for our investment webcasts in 2023. We’ve had well over 200 advisers join across the sessions where BlackRock have shared their current views in terms of the macroeconomic backdrop and portfolio positioning. Each session has included specialist content such as the ‘Psychology of Investing’ which has proved very popular. Thank you for your great interaction and questions.
We look forward to continuing these events in 2024 – we will confirm dates, content, and registration details in next month’s Adviser Update and in the Transact – BlackRock MPS Newsletter.

BlackRock 2024 Global Investment Outlook
2023 was another year defined by higher interest rates, a shifting macroeconomic outlook and in turn increased market volatility. This is a significant shift from the decade following the global financial crisis where investors could rely on static, broad asset allocation returns. You can read more about how BlackRock view this new environment and how a more active approach to managing investment portfolios and asset allocation will carry greater rewards in the the BlackRock 2024 Global Investment Outlook.
