Transact Online (TOL) – Recent Enhancements

This month we have made updates to the following:

 

Regular Withdrawals

To ensure Mrs. Miggins receives her regular income we now reserve cash from regular sales for the next regular withdrawal. This is especially useful for wrappers linked to Templates where, in the past, a DIM may have rebalanced the wrapper and used all the cash. Provided the regular sales amount is greater than or equal to the regular withdrawal amount (and there is sufficient liquidity in the wrapper to cover fees, etc.) it will be paid.

Your Report > Regular Transaction Report will highlight the regular withdrawals that will use reserved cash from regular sales with a ‘+’ sign.

Valuations API Improvement

We’ve improved our Valuation API (i.e data exchange which is explained here) to help when you import Transact valuation data into your back-office system. Now some personally identifiable information (PII) will be in the data for the first 30 days of a new wrapper being opened. This enables easier matching of those new wrappers added to the feed that your back-office software may not recognise.

All software providers have been notified (and technical specifications supplied) of this improvement to our service. The software providers will need to connect to an updated version (9) of the service. Please ask them to email tol@integrafin.co.uk, and ask for Tom Phillips if they require the technical specifications.

Improved Unsuccessful Trade Visibility

The Recently Completed Transaction Report is very useful in providing a detailed overview of completed transactions in client portfolios. From time-to-time transactions may fail. For example, bed transfers due to insufficient cash or a large unit price movement, or if a trade doesn’t meet the minimum required trade amount or limit price.

To ensure you have visibility of these unsuccessful transactions, we have added a new ‘Unsuccessful’ column to the Recently Completed Transaction Report, detailing the reason for the failure. This allows you to quickly identify unsuccessful transactions/trades, make any required amendments and resubmit your instruction, if required.
