Why did you join Transact?
I joined Transact after a friend referred me to the company. The opportunities for progression really appealed and the atmosphere sounded like a good fit for me.
Talk us through your career at Transact so far.
I joined the Transact Trainee Program where I had the opportunity to work in our Document Management department and Client Approval team. I then progressed to the role of Client Service Manager (CSM) in September 2014, working on a regional team covering North East England. In June 2016 I progressed to the role of Client Operations Supervisor, looking after two regional teams, then in September 2017 I took on the role of Regional Client Operations Manager covering West England.
What does your role involve on a day-to-day basis?
I currently manage a regional CSM team, which involves providing effective support to the team to ensure efficient and accurate processing of client and adviser firms’ instructions. I make sure the team is organised in the best way to ensure team and departmental targets are met to a high standard, whilst supporting and developing team members and providing quality reviews. In this role I have had the opportunity to build and manage strong external relationships with our adviser firms, providing support where needed to ensure a high level of service is provided.
What do you enjoy about working at Transact?
I love the people at Transact, it’s a very friendly and social company.
I also like that there are clear development opportunities, such as support for completing exams and opportunities to work in different departments to broaden your knowledge.
How would you describe the culture at Transact?

What advice would you give someone joining the business?
