We are pleased to report that the Transact – BlackRock models have achieved top quartile performance against their peer group since inception as shown here. Crucially each of the models has achieved that performance whilst maintaining risk within its target range.

In our latest webinar on 28 May, the investment team at BlackRock provided a detailed update on their latest thinking — covering the macroeconomic backdrop, current portfolio positioning, and performance. A key focus was on our evolving US exposure, including the introduction of an equal weight S&P 500 ETF. This shift helps reduce concentration risk in a market heavily tilted towards mega-cap tech, offering broader diversification across the index.

They were also pleased to host our latest regional investment lunch in London, this time exploring the theme ‘Investing like a sovereign wealth fund.’ The discussion highlighted some of the structural and behavioural reasons why retail investors often underperform institutions – and how we can bring some of that institutional thinking into client portfolios. They also took the opportunity to focus on current macro risks, including US trade tensions, impacts and how we’re positioning to navigate them.
