TRANSACT ONLINE (TOL) – RECENT ENHANCEMENTS

- Initial and switch fees have been removed: The facilitation of purchase-related fees (initial and switch for advisers) have been removed. Alongside this, the differentiation of new and switch cash has been retired. The move helps simplify charges for clients ensuring they are easy to understand and well aligned with our Consumer Duty objectives. It also helps simplify the platform’s codebase and administrative processes allowing us to focus on enhancing the platform ready for the next 25 years.
- Pickup Page (all users & Investors): The online Pickup Page is where users can securely access their correspondence from Transact. We’ve recently enhanced the search functionality by introducing a new filter, enabling advisers and clients to quickly locate the exact document they need. While this may seem like a small update, it reflects our ongoing commitment to improving usability. Alongside the Peer Review enhancement mentioned below, it’s another example of how Transact is focused on providing not just powerful tools—but tools that are intuitive, accessible, and designed to support you in getting the job done efficiently.

- Peer Review: If you regularly assign peer-reviewed instructions you can now set a preference to default the ‘Yes’ option when assigning a peer. No more clicking it every time. As a reminder, you can also set a default for the instruction itself to be peer-reviewed. Both settings can be updated in Account Settings (under the head & shoulders icon ) as shown below:
