It’s time to consider Transact
As the UK’s leading investment platform*, Transact has the scale, the experience and the expertise needed to ensure we can continue to meet the ever-changing needs of advisers.
According to a recent survey by independent research group Investment Trends, regulation continues to be a key area of focus for advisers in 2024, and even more so since the introduction of Consumer Duty rules which came into effect in July 2023. Advisers say they require extra resources and client reviews are taking longer.
At Transact we provide a wide range of solutions to make portfolio management easier and more efficient giving you more time to spend where it matters most – supporting your clients.
It’s time to consider if your current platform still provides the level of support you need.

Cash on Transact
Transact offers one of the highest cash interest rates currently available on the investment platform market, and we work hard to ensure we continue to provide the best rates.
The impact of cash interest can be significant. With our interest rates, it is possible for the average Transact Portfolio to earn more in interest on their cash holding than the average Transact annual platform charge*. For example:
Annualised cash interest rate as at end of December 2024 | Equivalent rate, assuming a portfolio value of £280,000, with £23,000 held in cash earning 4.47% p.a. | Transact charges on a single average portfolio of up to £280k |
---|---|---|
4.47% | ~36bps | 26bps |
Our approach to cash
We pass on 100% of cash interest earned to client portfolios – we do not retain any interest We provide access to fixed term deposit providers covering a range of terms Cash on Transact is held across a diverse selection of major UK banks.Integrations and data sharing
Our ability to integrate with other software providers can provide some of the biggest time-saving benefits to advisers. The secure and fast transfer of data between systems can help to reduce rekeying, reduce errors, and allow advisers to operate using their preferred back-office and third-party systems.
Transact integrates with many software providers such as cashflow modelling tools, CRM systems, fund research and more, and has already established links with some of the largest software providers in the industry (including intelliflo, Sprint and MoneyInfo). We can also work with you to connect with more.
To allow software providers to integrate with Transact we use Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The following Transact APIs are currently available, and we are in the process of developing more:
- Valuation data – a valuation of the client’s portfolio
- Transaction data – a list of all the transactions within the client’s portfolio
- Remuneration data – a record of payments from the client to the adviser to facilitate the reconciliation of adviser fees
