Adviser Update

TRANSACT ONLINE (TOL) – RECENT ENHANCEMENTS

This month we have extended the display of the Wrapper Ref to a number of pages. We’ve also added the ability for users to manage their fee payment wrapper online, and ISAs can now pay fees for GIAs. Clients can also now view their portfolio’s performance via mobile TOL.

Wrapper Ref

The Wrapper Ref (the wrapper reference beginning with IH) is now displayed on various pages like Portfolio Valuation, Link Templates, Appoint DIMs, and Transaction Listing. This change will help you match the wrapper ref with your backoffice software more easily.

Fee Payment Wrappers (FPW)

As part of the continuous process of digitising the platform we’ve made some improvements regarding the online FPW function. These changes are designed to eliminate the need for you to send secure emails or complete paper forms. The most impactful change is that family linked portfolios now have more FPW options.

For example:

  • Junior’s JISA fees can be paid by Mum’s GIA.
  • A Joint GIA can now pay Mrs Miggins’ bond fees in her individual portfolio.

FPWs are managed via the Housekeeping > Fee Payment Wrappers page. The page also has a table explaining the various permissible FPW permutations.

Performance on mobile TOL

Clients can view their portfolio’s performance on mobile. They can see net gain/loss, annualised return (IRR), and a dynamic chart showing portfolio value over time and net inflows/outflows. You can see what it looks like by viewing the demo investor.
