Removal of Adviser Purchase Related (Initial & Switch) Fees
Back in June we shared that with effect from January 2025 the option to choose purchase-related adviser fees (initial and switch) will not be available for new portfolios.
With effect from September 2025 existing portfolios will be unable to use this purchase fee structure.
There are a few adviser firms using the old purchase-related fee structure – if that applies to you we would urge you to start the process of moving to a new fee structure for you and your clients. Your Adviser Support Manager is here to support you should you need.
Future fee type options
The three adviser fee types which we will continue to facilitate with Transact are:
- Annual Fees (with an option for different rates for Cash and Investments).
- Initial Fees based on the amount deposited (called “Portfolio Establishment Fees”).
- Ad hoc Fees (on a monetary basis).
Should you require any further information or assistance please contact your Adviser Support Manager.
