Our Purpose

The Miggins family

A term you will often hear used at Transact is the Miggins family; this represents the clients who use Transact guided by a financial adviser. We also cater for entity clients such as corporates and trusts.

Transact enables clients and their adviser to hold their investments on a single platform across a range of tax wrappers. We provide custody, tax wrapping, trading and reporting, and facilitate intergenerational planning.

We signed up to the Women in Finance Charter and as part of our commitment to improving gender diversity we pledged to increase the number of women on our senior management team. Our current senior management team has a 38% female representation. Our target is to increase this representation to 45% by 2027.

The number of interviews you may attend or assessments you undertake varies dependent on the role, but the recruitment team will always clearly communicate the process that will be followed and what the expectations are at each stage.

The best way to prepare for an interview at Transact is to research not only what we do but who we are as an organisation. As well as our website, our Investor Brochure will provide some additional key information.

We also recommend that you familiarise yourself with the role you are interviewing for by reading through the job description and any other interview materials provided. We want to make sure that joining Transact is the right decision for you, so all we ask is that you take the time to do your research, prepare some questions, be honest and be yourself.

As a regulated business we conduct thorough referencing for all successful candidates. This involves confirming, as a minimum, your highest level of education, relevant professional qualifications and six years of employment history as well as criminal and credit checks. This may vary depending on whether the role is subject to enhanced regulatory requirements. If you have any concerns relating to referencing, please raise this with a member of the recruitment team.
